Five days and counting

I know Emily was designated our "blogger", since nobody else would volunteer, but thought I would give it a shot. I at least wanted to post something, since I will be sending out the link to my friends and family. Here goes... (I already hit Enter after the subject, so now editing)

Most of us are packed, and all those bags are under 50 lbs., so far. Three more suitcases of supplies were also packed yesterday, and Tanya has checked everything off. We got our polo shirts yesterday, and after a few minutes, figured out the difference between the ladies and men's style. Next milestone is all showing up on time Saturday morning (on my end, will be setting multiple alarms, including giving instructions to the early riser in the house, to be sure that Dad and Luke are out of bed when she wakes up).

On a personal note, I packed another pair of shoes, as I am giving ample respect for the mud, and now have 3.5 lbs. to spare (per my scale, we will see what I tip the airline scales at on Saturday).
